Planned events include early arrival Loop Drive (between Lenoir and Blowing Rock) with a meal stop at Happy Valley Filling Station; drive to Bristol with parade laps at the ‘Last Great Colosseum‘ (Bristol Motor Speedway) with a follow-on ‘iron butt‘ optional drive to the Diamondback (US-226A) near Little Switzerland; A tour of Ben Long Fresco museums is planned with lunch at the Bluffs Restaurant at Milepost 241, Blue Ridge Parkway. A people‘s choice car show will be held on the grounds of Chip Perry‘s Car Barn (weather permitting) with tours, dinner and awards show; Best of Show and Iron Butt awards round out the award show.
