Come join the Arizona 356 Outlaws on another beautiful scenic drive through Arizona and into Utah’s spectacular Monument Valley. Save the dates! Our driving event starts in Fountain Hills, AZ, and heads to the cool pines of Payson for lunch, then on to Winslow for an overnight stay at the famous La Posada hotel, and photo ops "standing on the corner...". Welcome to architect Mary Elizabeth Jane Colter's Southwest masterpiece. The hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and includes an on-site art museum. Friday takes us through the Navajo reservation with lunch in Chinle, and a side tour of several stunning vista overlooks into Canyon de Chelle. We then finish the drive into Mexican Hat, UT for a two night stay. Saturday morning we join up with a Navajo guided jeep tour of the Monument Valley. This 2.5 hour tour provides stunning vistas and stops to explore Navajo culture. It includes locations only accessible by the tour guides. Following a stop for lunch we are back in our 356's for a drive up the Moki Dugway. The Moki Dugway is a well maintained series of switchbacks with an 11% grade that is an exciting drive with amazing views of the valley below. Drivers can continue on to the Natural Bridges National Monument. Saturday night we join together for a group dinner at the Swinging Steaks restaurant on the hotel property.
Sunday we return home. Watch for updates and more detail at https://az356outlaws.org/events/.
