Workshop Video Series
Members-only videos for new 356 owners who want help caring for their cars, routine maintenance experienced owners can do at home, and a look at what a mechanic does for members who don't turn wrenches.
The oil change is the most fundamental service on a 356, and the procedure itself is straightforward. Four things trip people up: choosing an oil without enough zinc for the flat-tappet valve train, skipping the sump strainer cleaning, reusing a dirty filter element, and leaving old oil behind in places the drain plug does not reach. Tim covers all four in the video.
More released regularly over the next nine months.
