356 Chassis Database information now migrated to new site

We have now imported the vast majority of the VIN DB and the Members cars data into the Chassis Number History section. Using this members-only feature, you’ll be able to search over 21,400 historical records. Remember, the data is only as good as what was in the database.
To access, follow these steps:
1. Log into your account.
2. Select "Chassis Number History" under the "Technical" menu
3. You can enter search terms information into the initial screen. For example Chassis ID "157229"
4. Hit the Search button to view results (which may be none, or multiples)
5. If you wish to search on many different attributes, there is a button "Click here to toggle additional questions" to display all the options.
6. Enter search terms and click Search.
7. The Reset button will clear all the search terms so you can start over.
If you don’t find what you want by selecting a specific entry, like color (say “Irish Green”) - try again by resetting the search and entering the text in the “History - Known and Legend” box. Most of the VIN DB data has been moved there because it would not match up to the precise definitions allowed in the various fields (for instance "interior color").
