1964 C Cab

Belongs to Barry Shay

Chassis: 160135

Bought this car in 1965 from an Army Major and helocopter pilot who was heading to Viet Nam. He purchased the car in 1964 when he was stationed in Germany and saw it come off the assembly line. I've been the only owner since and all numbers match: chassis, engine, transmission, etc. I personally rebuilt the engine many years ago (date to be added) and since then it has only been a "Sunny Sunday" car. Rebuilt with about 135,000 miles and now has about 160,000 miles. Body, interior, and top restored in (date to be added). I've modernized the car somewhat with electric fuel pump, optical ignition, and Weber 40 DCNF carbs. I have original Zenith carbs on a shelf but one of them leaks through the bowl, which is why I replaced them. More photos later.
