Just bumping this to the top of the list. Anyone have any clues on the whereabouts of 607242 or the original home for 603277?

For many years, the roadster was owned by Ernie Groves from the Boston area. I understand that the Groves drove the car to the moon and back during the long period of time they owned the car, so there is no telling what became of this motor.

If nothing else, I would at least like to hear the story about how the car and its original motor became separated.

Btw, 89793 is still in very nice driver condition - I am sure the Groves would be pleased that the car remains in fine shape and is used on a regular basis. It now has motor 603277, which I believe is from a '59. If someone is looking to reunite this motor with its original chassis, I would be happy to let it go for a reasonable price. Otherwise, I will keep it.

Please contact me with any information.

Thanks - must go drive now!
