I am attempting to put my car back together as original as possible. What is the correct color for the front hood latch and the rear engine lid latch. 1962 t6 B coupe.

I believe they were Cad plated, I like Nickle myself.

I have to check the front, but I believe in the rear the receiver (female) part of the latch was black, and the male part affixed to the lid was body-colored.

For a T6 B, both latches are black (reciever) and the (plunger) is body color to match the trunk compartment and the motor compartment. The cad plated color is for C's
