Oh Dave you can be a little more generous than that. At least its another one still on the road. I am in the midst of redoing my front seats and must have sneezed for a week from that old horse hair. At least the seats aren't plush velour.....................of course I am having mine done with red corduroy like CofA says.

Hi Jacques,
Are you getting ready to auction off those Carreras yet?
Seems like now could be a good time.

Hi Tim
Did they have their normal 10% premium in effect? if so that is a cool .5 million but you are going to need a whole lot more to buy a RS60.
Joris you are no. 32 on the list

This is a lot less than EC sold theirs a month ago - they were asking $675k at their website.

I had a close look at the black A Carrera cab at European Collectibles during the Rennsport weekend last year. For $675K I would expect a perfect car. This one was missing the gas heater exhaust system and had later Parker EO type fittings on the oil lines. But it was still an extremely nice car!

Freddy, I am told by some friends at the auction and/or have known the Blue car who say it is rather "needy". One friend said it took him all of 5 minutes to note over 10 things wrong, weak or sloppy.

Hi Tim/Freddy
the car was redone in the late 90s when it came from Japan. at that time restorations were not up to current standars and the value of the car was not much. the owner at that time wanted to make it into a "fun" car so the annular brakes were discarded and the gas heater etc. With your help i provided the shop that assembled the car with a set of hard oil lines and fittings and oil line hose and parts a few days before the car was assembled for the auction. it had not run in 14 years til a week ago. The car has potential but i think it would cost more to make it "right" than it would net. Jim at Easy can comment since he remenbers the car from last century.

The 63 C Cab, one-off, prototype, sold for $205,000 which is less than it sold for about a year ago. Still, a nice car, if not totally original, and a great price for this model.
