I think Stan is Stan Jensen, my bet is Jim at EASY can identify all of these. Looks like an East Bay Greaser pen party. I am just an honory member, not invited to the pen parties.

Can you get me an e-mail address of Stan Jensen?

I'm looking for the rear 1500S sign in gold between rear window and engine hood. Does anyone know where I can get it? There is no on on Stoddart. Thanx!

"1500S sign in gold between rear window and engine hood" ??
Do you mean below the engine lid, below the "porsche" logo?

The guy to talk to would be Mr. Haussler A.K.A Dogaballs :-) He found this puppy years ago and owned it for several years. I am sure some of the East Bay Greasers will chime in.

Yes, that's what I meant! I thought "between" means below the window and above the engine hood... Maybe my German way of thinking is wrong? :D

Yes, that is what it means.
But both the "porsche" and "1500 Super" would be below the engine lid.

I saw this car at the 2010 North meets South meeting in San Luis Obispo. It had the 'improvised tool kit' in the nose. I love that car, it's awesome!

Best of luck on finding a 1500S script. They are rare. Keep an eye on Ebay, sometimes they pop up.

If they call a Porsche powered Cooper a "Pooper", then don't ever put a Ford motor in a Tucker

I don't know about the car, but I was amused to look up the Bible quote referred to, Revelations 3:20
Quote:
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

What's that about?

That car is a Bay Area fixture! All of us "East Bay Greasers" got to be up close and personal to that cool car. We were all sad to see it leave the Bay Area but it appears to have found a nice home.

Regards
